Getting Your Bella Mailbox to You Safely

We take shipping seriously. Your custom Bella mailbox is a handcrafted piece of art and a significant investment in your home. That's why we partner with UPS Ground to ensure safe, reliable delivery. This policy outlines our shipping process, timelines, and what to expect.

Processing & Timeline

ORDER PLACEMENT TO SHIPMENT

Production Time: 7-10 business days

Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, our team begins handcrafting your mailbox. This 7-10 day window includes material preparation, construction, painting, finishing, quality inspection, and packaging. We don't rush — every mailbox gets the meticulous attention it deserves.

Quality Inspection: 1-2 days

Before your mailbox ships, it passes through our final quality inspection. We check finish, hardware, construction, address customization, and overall appearance. No defects leave our workshop.

UPS Ground Shipping: 3-7 business days

After packing, your mailbox ships via UPS Ground. Delivery time depends on your location within the continental U.S. Most orders arrive within 3-7 business days of shipment.

 TOTAL TIMELINE: 10-17 Business Days (approximately 2-3 weeks)

We cover all UPS Ground shipping costs for orders within the 48 contiguous states. This is included in your final quote — no surprise charges at checkout.

We ship to all 48 contiguous states with free UPS Ground service. This covers most of our customers nationwide.

ALASKA & HAWAII

We can ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but shipping costs differ due to distance and carrier rates. Please contact us for a custom shipping quote:

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Currently, we do not ship internationally. All orders must be shipped to addresses within the United States. If you have a special request, please contact us to discuss options.

How We Protect Your Mailbox

Your Bella mailbox is carefully packaged to withstand the shipping process. Here's what we do:

Protective Wrapping

The mailbox is wrapped in protective materials to prevent scratches, dents, and exposure to elements.

Sturdy Box

Packaged in a reinforced, high-quality shipping box designed to handle the rigors of ground transportation.

Interior Padding

Cushioning materials inside the box absorbs impact and prevent movement during transit.

Inspection Label

Packing slip and inspection notes included so you know your mailbox was carefully prepared.

Receiving & Inspecting Your Delivery

WHEN YOUR PACKAGE ARRIVES

  1. Check the exterior of the box for visible damage

  2. Sign for the delivery (if required by carrier)

  3. Open the box carefully and remove the mailbox

  4. Inspect for damage, defects, or missing hardware

  5. Test the door, drawer, and locking mechanisms (if applicable)

 

DAMAGE UPON DELIVERY

If your mailbox arrives damaged due to shipping:

  1. Document the damage with clear photos of the mailbox and the damaged packaging

  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  3. We will arrange a replacement mailbox at no cost to you

  4. You do NOT need to return the damaged mailbox first — replacement ships immediately

Tracking Your Order

REAL-TIME UPDATES

When your mailbox ships, you'll receive an email with:

  • UPS tracking number

  • Estimated delivery date

  • Link to track your package in real time

  • Packaging details and care instructions

You can monitor every step of your delivery using the UPS tracking link. Updates include package pickup, in-transit milestones, and delivery confirmation.

One of Bella's key advantages: we don't just ship your mailbox — we can install it for you.

SCHEDULING INSTALLATION

Once your mailbox is ready to ship, we'll coordinate a convenient installation time with you. We offer flexible scheduling and will work around your availability.

DIY INSTALLATION

If you're outside our service area or prefer to install it yourself, we provide detailed installation instructions, diagrams, and access to our support team via phone or email for guidance.

Q: Can I expedite my order?

A: Our standard 7–10 days production timeline reflects the handcrafted nature of our work.

 

If you require an express order, an additional fee of $500.00 will apply

We don't rush quality. However, if you have a time-sensitive need, contact us to discuss if expedited options are available.

Q: What if I'm not home when UPS delivers?

A: UPS will leave a notice or hold the package at a nearby distribution center. You can reschedule delivery or pick it up yourself using your tracking number. Signature may not be required depending on your location.

Q: Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

A: UPS Ground cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. You must provide a street address for delivery. If you have a unique situation, contact us.

Q: Is shipping included in my final quote?

A: Yes. Free UPS Ground shipping within the continental U.S. is included in your final price quote. No hidden shipping charges.

Q: What if my mailbox arrives damaged?

A: Contact us within 48 hours with photos. We will replace it at no cost. You don't need to return the damaged mailbox first.
